Brandon was a great guy. A cheerful, wide-eyed kid ready to take on the world of telemarketing sales. If I were to guess, I’d have to say this was his first week on the job. The guy was downright minty, like he had been freshly-pressed from the Telemarketing Machine. He took each and every bizarre comment I made in stride, never once keeping his eyes off the prize.

Toward the tail end of our conversation, I enthusiastically asked if I could talk with Brandon’s manager about some of my unique incentive ideas. He said sure, and quickly put me on hold… for the next 6 minutes. That’s right. The Spankster was spanked by my very own spankee.

Here I was, wasting his time like a professional, an’ he done turned the tables on me! Sneaky, sneaky spanker…
